picture of

Clear, translucent red color. Direct aromas of cherries, plums, cranberries and blackberries accompanied by dried red flowers, cloves, tobacco and other soft spices. In the mouth it is balanced and pleasant. Nebbiolo from his easiest side. A refreshing acidity keeps the wine lively and captivating. The perfect wine to get to know a grape like Nebbiolo.

As a tasty accompaniment to various antipasti and more specifically Italian charcuterie, generous pizzas, pasta bolognaise, osso bucco or a Milanese schnitzel.

climate

The proximity of the Alps and the Dolomites determine the weather and ensure cold winters with sufficient precipitation. The proximity of the Mediterranean makes the summers hot and dry with cooling during the night. The high vineyards provide even more ventilation and cooling.

soil

The vineyards are among the highest in Barolo. A variation of sandy soils with a high clay and loam content (Sant'Agata marl) and poor sandy, porous soils with fossil elements. (Diano Sandstone)

vinification

100% Nebbiolo. Hand-picked grapes. First maceration pellicular where crushed grapes rest for a few hours in the must to extract more flavor and aromas. Fermentation then takes place in a mix of stainless steel and cement tanks for 15 days. Part of the wine is then aged for a short time (6-8 months) in large wooden barrels. Then all the wine is blended back and it rests further in cement tanks for 8-12 months. After bottling, it remains in the bottle for another 3 months on the estate before being released on the market.
