Puglia has a Mediterranean climate with hot summers, mild winters and relatively little rainfall. However, there is sufficient rain for olive and wine growing and the number of sun hours ensures that the fruits can grow well in the summer months. In the summer months the average maximum temperature is around thirty degrees. The relative humidity can increase considerably in the autumn.
