Wonderfully deep, dark ruby red color with a beautiful shine. Very intense and complex nose with lots of ripe black and red fruit like cherries on alcohol, blackberries, wild berries and plum accompanied by spicy impressions of cardamom, nutmeg and black pepper. Notions of undergrowth and a hint of sweet balsamic vinegar emerge in the impressively long and tasty finish.
Southern, spicy meat dishes, game stews, lamb dishes, grilled red meat and medium-aged cheeses.
