Bright light yellow colour. Fresh, lively nose with impressions of delicate yellow fruit and yellow blossom. Refined aromas are confirmed on the palate. Dry style and refreshing character. Nice balance where the mild flavour of the Viura is perfectly supported by a fine touch of acidity. The finish is medium-long and simply appetising.
This wonderfully fresh style is perfect as an aperitif or on a sunny terrace. Delicious with seafood, fish carpaccio, salads or risotto.

The climate in Rioja Alavesa is influenced more than in the rest of Rioja by the Atlantic Ocean. Protection from that same northern influence by the mountains of Cantabria. Combined with high altitude vineyards, this guarantees short but very hot summers with cooling by northern winds and long mild winters with sufficient precipitation.
